Today I needed to view the registry as a normal user on a Remote Desktop server (XenApp). There was GPO's in place to prevent access to both Regedit.exe and REG.exe so I needed an alternate way of accessing the registry (and overriding the security).
I found the following utility on the web to be able to access registry as the normal user (an other solution could be to create a GPO; allowing Regedit access and scope it to my test user).
