Exchange 2013 OWA and ECP page blank after login ?!

I have recently experianced this on several Exchange 2013 installations in different configurations and versions (CU2 and CU3). The error in my cases are related to certificate changes on the CAS server (IIS service). The reason is that when changing the services for the certificate Exchange doesn't update the "Exchange Back End" site with the correct certificate on the mailbox server.

Steps to solve

  1. Logon to the correct back end server
  2. Open IIS manager (Start > Run > Inetmgr)
  3. Browse to the "Exchange Back End" website
  4. Click Bindings
  5. Mark the "https" binding (normally on port 444) and click Edit...
  6. Verify (or change to) the correct certificate
  7. Click OK
  8. Click Close
  9. Restart IIS on the server (IISRESET /noforce)

Accidentally broke my bindings and still couldn't get it until I found this, for some reason it de-selected my SSL cert. Thanks!

Thank you SOOO much! Was exactly what my problem was. Interestingly I changed my certificates around 3 weeks ago and the problem did show up until after a reboot of the server.
